JULIA ALLEN

A 17-year-old from Forest, Virginia, Julia Allen is a rising homeschooled senior. With the goal of becoming a sports journalist, Julia plans on majoring in communications with a minor in Spanish at Liberty University.

At the age of 11, Julia created her platform, Color the World with Kindness, to inspire kids to be kind and respectful. She illustrated, designed, and published a coloring book to distribute around the world. After passing out over 5,000 copies of her first version, she created a second volume and is working towards her goal of distributing 10,000 copies. Color the World with Kindness has been sent to countless states and several countries, including South Africa, Iceland, Thailand, Japan, and more.

To further these efforts, Julia founded her 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Bella Mondo Fund in 2022. She has a goal of raising money to fund the publication and distribution of more coloring books. A three-time recipient of the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award, she has acquired over 700 hours of community service.

She lives by the verse, Proverbs 16:24: “Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” As Miss Virginia Teen USA, she intends to spread this message and share these values with every person she meets during the year!
